Packing and moving is one of those activity which involves both being happy and sad at the same time. An emotionally charged activity where one is excited to see what future beholds but as the human tendency too attached to let go off the present!
I am now packing off to mark an end to my journey at Mangalore and at Infosys at large.
I too have the low times knowing that I won't be a part of Infosys network to be easily communicate with my friends over communicator, won't be in the Karnataka zone to make those easy intra-state calls to plan to meet friends in circle, no more pings calling for lunch, no more party @ fc mails, and so much more.
But this is exactly why I am leaving because all I will miss is the 'having fun' part. I won't miss a quad of my project times. I am too young to be so sad! :)
Well back to the packing stuff. I have never been averse to packing, rather I think I love it. Because it involves a promise of some exciting experience in future. :)
The last when I was most excited about packing was when we were leaving for a three day trip to Ooty from Mysore during my training days. The reason I was so excited was that I was going on this trip with relatively new friends and the fact that the trip's last day was falling on my birthday! More on that later!
So here I am packing again. And i am most apprehensive about transporting the full carton of my book collection and as I counted; in last one year I have collected 32 books! :) :)
Not bad given the 5 months of Infosys training is cleared with 4.8! :P
Apart from that I just have 4 bags!! Not bad!! I am not an out-of-control-acumulating-goods kind of girl! I am sorted out!! :D
I will soon put up the picture of the carton that carries my books! What?? Its important to me! :)
